For those that did that, any idea of the MINIMUM height to roll the chasis out from under the body when it's lifted off? Vehicle will have the stock suspension when this is started (planning to do the lift when the two are apart though).
Giddy-up!

Measure from the top of the 3.8L down to the ground and add a couple inches safety factor.
Now, I suppose if you go out through the front, you could remove the radiator support and get away with quite a bit less.

Unfortunately the JK isn't in my posession just yet. It's still being pulled behind a Class A. I am trying to get ready for this whole project to include a 2 post hoist but not sure how tall I need to go. I really don't want to get a big bad boy but rather considering something like this 45" lift height, 7000lb max portable for about 2K:

If you have something sturdy overhead, you could remove the seats, insert some bolts and use the bolts to secure chains connected to a hoist. This would make for multiple attachment points to fasten to your hoist. It would be a lot cheaper!

Well that's an idea! I'll keep that in mind, thanks.
