Can anyone tell me which winch matches up the best with the AEV JK front bumper?

According to their product information, that bumper will fit all Warn winches up to 9500 lbs. Hope that helps!

It fits most winches up to 9500 lbs, as long as it is not a power plant. I know that it appears that an integrated solenoid (Warn 9500ti style) seems to fit better than the remote solenoid (Warn xd9500 style) winches.

Does anyone know the bolt pattern for the winch on the AEV JK front bumper? Will any other winches besides the Warn winch work with the AEV front bumper?

Yes.
As far as I know all the winches in that class have the same bolt pattern. Warn, MileMarker, Ramsey, etc
10.0" x 4.5" (254mm x 114.3mm)

Thanks that is helpful. Can anyone give me an idea or example of any other winches they have used with the AEV Jk front bumper? I'm concerned with the selenoid and compatability.

I know in JK-Forum.com it seems as though the warn 9.5ti is the most popular, and it is the same that AEV uses, and fits the best. If you want a nicer winch you can upgrade to the 9.5si M.O.F.S.E.T. since it is the exact same on the outside.

I can tell you the Mile Marker SI 9500 does not fit. Learned it the hard way. I assumed that since it was the same style as the Warn it would fit. I know AEV can not test fit every winch on the market but it would nice to have more options than Warn.

I assume it will work well with the Superwinch EPi9.0. As good as Warn at about 1/2 price (my opinion).

I know this is an old thread but does anybody know if a MileMarker HI series hydraulic winch will fit in the premium bumper? Thanks.

I may be wrong but based on the mounting plate, I don't think a Warn 8274 will work with the bumper. They bolt through the front not the bottom.

Anyone have any luck installing a "Superwinch Rock 95 Competition Winch" or Smittybilt winch on the AEV front bumper? Smittybilt does not have a 9.5 winch but their "Smittybilt XRC 10 Comp-Series" winch is supposed to be about the same size. I would like to install one of the two but it would be a costly mistake if it won't fit the bumper.

It would be a costly mistake to buy that cheap chinese Smittybilt winch as well. You get what you pay for, support North American manufacturers like Warn.

I would bet good money that any winch under about $2k is either made in China or "made of parts" made in China

was out at Rausch Creek this weekend, went up a trail called "winch required" and sure enough for 3 out of the 5 Jeeps it was, my Mile Marker did just fine along with two other guys' Smittybilts ... yes Warn makes great winches, but whether it's worth the extra cost is purely a personal decision in my opinion

As long as you can mount the control box in the center it shouldn't be a problem... there is height in the middle but not on the sides..... here's mine with the Smittybilt XRC-8 Comp-Series Winch (synthetic line)... note the new AEV bumper does not have welded light brackets, can be removed ... I used other holes for the lights and smaller IPF 968's

Here below is the Smittybilt just after installation before being "prettied." I had initially put the light brackets on backwards to possibly use but ended up taking them off...

I also used some plastic upholstery buttons from the local Autozone for the holes... as an interim solution while I figure out where I want to ulimately mount the lights...

Thanks for the info and pointing out that some of the winches I was looking at are made overseas. I try to buy products made in the USA every chance I get.
