Would it be possible to source a set of the J8 tow hooks from AEV, or does anyone know where to find something like that?

The hooks are easy, its the attachment points on the vehicle itself. When they are slung under helicopters that are attached at the wheel hubs using a standard d shackle with a screw in post...

I am after the look and use as a recovery point more than needing my jeep to be able to be lifted by a helicopter. LOL!

They're not exactly the same as the J8 hooks, but I picked up a pair of shackle mounts from purejeep for a minimalist bumper I built a while ago:
