We had a little 3.0l WK motor drop at our door step for the next project.

You've got to tell me where batman gets those wonderful toys...I would love to drop that into my brute project. If I were so inclined besides finding a wrecked WK where could I find a 3.0 diesel.

Pretty hard to come by. We got lucky finding this one. I heard they cost about $17k for a new replacement:eek:. It more than likely will go into a buggy.

Good luck with the project...I wish I had luck like that :)

How hard is it to connect this thing to the JK computer and have everything working correctly?

The electronic part is easy on a JK, its a very similar system, its fitting in that is a challenge because of the steering gear. Hard to put in on a TJ because the electronics are a different style. A buggy would be very sweet though! Dave tells me the big brother to that motor is absolutely awesome in the M420.

I measured the WK's frame width at 28" to clear the a/c compressor and alternator. The Tj and Jk are closer to 25", give or take. So a buggy would be best. I'm working on a prototype buggy that is a cross between the Jeep Hurricane and the Halo Warthog.
