I have had a 37 on my stock tailgate for 2 years. I am using the AEV adapter. About half of the spot welds on the inside of my tailgate look like they have failed. The spare is still stable, but there is a horrible rattle if I hit a hard bump. I can't wait to get the new bumper and carrier!

Thanks I was thinking about your jeep when I posted this. Do you still like the 37's ? How many miles have you got on the bfg?

Yeas, I am very happy with the 37s. I have 19,500 miles on the BFGs.

Well just looking at your photos I'm pretty much sold on the 37's. Awsome rig!!! Anything you would change??

I have an auto transmission. I recommend the 5.38 gears with the auto. Oh ya, and the Hemi would be a nice change!

I would expect about 12K out of a tailgate with an AEV wheel and BFG from what we've seen over the past year or so of really paying a lot of attention. Its worse with heavier tires, the worst we've seen is guys running Toyos, about 7K.

Would that be 35s or 37s?
