This is a trip my dad and I took from Moab through Lockhart Basin, Beef Basin, etc. into AZ before heading back to So Cal. The trip was actually arranged through Guns & Rovers (a Land Rover club my dad belongs to) - we had 5 vinatge Land Rovers (all from the 1950's and 1960's) and me in my '04 AEV TJ. I am very appreciative of their allowing me to tag along (not that one or two didn't need a tug here and there to get over some of the more "difficult" obsticles)
Overall we did 4 nights of dry camping through the desert and other than one broken axel (on my dad's Rover) we all made it through unscathed.
