A few lineup photos from the 128 Jeeps that came out:

And, my rig, at the start. I saw a lot of AEV parts, but none with the complete package like this. The Jeep reps (Lucas and Mos) recognized them immediately. On the trail and all throughout the rides (esp. after the "rock garden") folks with other rigs came up to ask me about the parts. Most were amazed by the suspension. When clambering over the mini boulders, all four wheels remained in contact despite the radical angles required to do so. No other suspensions were able to manage that. As the driver, I didn't take so many photos of my own Jeep, so I have to wait for my friend to get his photos to me before I can upload some of this kit in action.

And, I should note, an often under-appreciated, undersold and under-discussed part, the JK Rear Slider did a great job. This is a shot after mud and rocks, where the slider shows a surface scrape. It really did its job so well I didn't notice the slide until I took a look over the Jeep at the end of the day.

I should also note that it wasn't so easy an installation as I had first hoped. To get enough thread on the rearward u-bolts to show through the joinder, I had to take a hammer and bang the front edge of the slider until it seated far enough back on the Dana 44 drive axle to be able to complete the install. But I'm glad it's on.

This guy was great. Went by the nickname Crazy Larry. He came through the mud slick with more oomph than finesse on the old CJ, and slammed right into a tree. A branch fell into the back of his ride. No damage to the CJ, though- from either impact. Plenty of mud, given his 37's stick way beyond the stock fenders.

The wiring isn't long enough to turn the W right side up. Ultimately, I'll have a metal fab shop do a set of brackets to mount it horizontally over the drum. I'll probably have them add in a hinge for easy servicing of the line. But I'm not in a rush.

Muddin' like a snowplow through powder. Many Jeeps got high-centered on this portion, or had to slip-slide their way to the other side, but the AEV kit kept solid traction the whole way through.

The rock slalom was a nice test of axle articulation and wheel travel, testing whether all four wheels would remain in contact and whether the body of the Jeep would tilt radically with the rocks.

The Nth suspension is very nimble, traversing competing pitches on all sides. Folks on the trail kept asking me what kind of suspension I had, because other Jeeps were heavily castered going over the rocks, or slid and bumped their way along where this one just jogged through it- like watching NFL guys keep high knees through tires in training.
