View Full Version : Brute Weight
Hey, guys.
Does anybody know what a brute weighs? Let's assume the I6 is still in it.

This is somewhat of a loaded question since no two Brutes are alike.
I can tell you we built a Brute based on a Rubicon with 35" BFG MTs, the AEV Highline Kit and a standard 3" suspension and it weighed in at 4298lb. with a full tank of full.
Hope that helps,

With a full tank of gas and a 6-pack in the front seat ... mine was exactly 5,000 lbs.

The last time I rolled over the scales with My Brute....wheeling ready she was somewhere around 5600lbs.....she has gone on the Bill Burnstien Jeep diet of late and alot of useless Jeep bracketry, overbuilt steel harware and RE long arm has been cut off. It will be re wieghed after the aluminum replacement parts, suspension and coilovers have been attached....hopin to ditch some fat off her(save the larger 42" MTR's)!!
