So I have contacted Customer support and they suggested I ask anyone on the forum, but I have a '75 CJ5 with the original Dana 44 in the rear, but want to install the AEV Differential Slider for it. No one seems to know whether it will work or not. Any suggestions or success stories for a similar year D-44, before I fork out the cash to find out the hard way. Thanks, Cory

I am looking forward to this. I did like to see the other building that is somewhat similar to what I am trying to do the job. Take lots of pictures, this is something that I should have done more. However, the first thing you need is preferably a disc rotor bolts. There is familiarity with the machine cold, I can only ask for the information and images bolt pattern wheel axle of preferably off.

I got this slider for my JK and found that it was for the early D44 that is on the CJ's & XJ's. Kent at AEV has seen it. He may be able to give you more info.
