Just a little jaunt last weekend.
3.5" Premuim with 35's. About halfway through, I was wishing 4.5" and 37's ...= )

Looks like fun. Even wishing for more clearance, I bet you made it through and had lots of fun.
There is defnitely a diference between a 2 door and a 4 door in rock gardens on the same tire size, but all in all, I would pick my unlimited on 35s over and over again because of the stability and overall utility. My dad is just the opposite and likes the two door for the rock gardens and tight stuff.

Oh yeah!
I was the ONLY JK that did not get winched...;)
I like the low center of gravity, but my CJ7 on 35's has 28" to the rockers and the JK on 35's only has 24", so the body design is a definite factor in ability. I could have used that extra 2" from 37's and the 4.5 Nth, more than a few times!

That makes it even better.

MoparNorm,
I was just looking at your run there and noticed it looks like you have the Sahara sidesteps. Did they survive that run and how have you liked them, if that is what you have?
