If you are keeping the drivetrain stock 2003-2006 jeep rubicon. If you are modifying the drive train and seats 1997-2006 tj.

A 2004-2006 TJ Unlimited (often referred to as an LJ) will also work...you just won't extend the frame quite as much. I don't believe there is any advantage to going with an LJ over a TJ and they *usually* go for a little more money, so you probably want a TJ instead, but in the event you run across the perfect thing in LJ form, I just wanted you to know it'll work, too.

Mine started out life as an LJ.
