View Full Version : ESP Light Coming on With 4LO -- EGR Module Related

Ever since the EGR module has been installed everytime I place the WK into 4LO the ESP light comes on. Suggestions?

In the "understanding the features of your vehicle" section of the owners manual it talks about the ESP system in Low Range. Its perfectly normal for the ESP light to be on in 4Low, because the vehicle's ESP automatically goes into a partial off mode. Hope that helps.

Maybe my last one was broken then! I'm looking around for the dunce cap so I can go sit in the corner...

you can turn ESP all the way off when you are in 4 lo.

just hold the button in for 5 seconds. then your display will tell you it has been turned off. you are then free to stomp on the pedal without any problems.
