I'm running Pintlers on my WK and would like to be set-up with a full size spare. Got my full size tire just need a rim with the same offset as the Pintlers. Anybody know where I can a scratched/damaged Pintler for a spare? What does AEV do with their damaged Pintler returns? Looking to get one cheap and not pay full price as this is going to be a spare.

OR

Anybody know of a cheap rim with the same measurements as the Pintlers for a spare? Thanks

I went with a 17" steelie with 5" BS. It'll stick out a LITTLE more than a Pintler, but should work. Roughly $70.

Email Mike Reckling in Detroit (mreckling@aev-conversions.com) If we have a scratched wheel, he would be able to help you out.

Dave - Thanks for the reply. Turns out all your damaged rims get sent back to the supplier so I guess I'll either have to bite the bullet and just get a new fifth Pintler or keep on the look out for something close to the Pintler specs.

TRZ - Is that the Crager rim you are using for a spare?

Yes. Eventually. I'm at the beginning of my build process - will be modifying the rear cross member to accomodate a 33" spare, then I'll be using the Crager as my spare.
