 I am an early Ford Bronco owner and new to the Jeep world. Just bought a 2011 JK Unlimited Rubicon. Had to go with the auto for my daughter and I can already tell it needs regearing. Vehicle will never see more than 33" tires, stock suspension and mild off road use. Mostly a daily driver. Questions: 4.88 or 5.13? Do I have to recalibrate the electronics? Who do you recommend for the install? (Local Southeast Michigan resident).
Also, do you guys install your products and if so who do I call?

33's and an automatic would do well with 4.88's. I have 35's and an auto and run 5.13's which would be too low with the smaller tires.
AEV has installing dealers all over the US and I think there is a link to those dealers at the product page of the web site. The AEV Pro Cal tuner will re-set the speedometer for the new tires and gears. It's an easy do-it-yourself tool. The dealer will charge you just about the cost of the Pro Cal for re-setting your speedo, so it's a better deal to buy one and keep it for future gears and or tire changes. It can also be used to reset several factory setting and change the engine rpm for winching or low rpm operation.

Thanks for the info. Very useful. I'll go with the 4.88's. Love the Jeep compared to the Bronco.
