Below is an email I sent to my friends. I posted it here to maybe get some feedback. I like the idea of just a two inch lift. However I like the 37s as well. I am just not sure how feasible it is. I have my boy's tires on there right now and in general they fit. They do rub the Teraflex S/T Sway Bar on hard turns. I do not know the offset of the rims. If I buy rims that are offset more to the outside, to clear the swaybar, could I hit the upper side of the rear fender flares when heavily articulated? Will I have to deal with the same issue with 35s? In other words with the right offset rim can I avoid rubbing alltogether?

Letter I sent to my friends:
I finally decided to try the AEV Highline kit on my Rubicon. Just got it back and we are going to have to test various tire configurations. The pictures show the Jeep with the stock tires and then Ian's 37 12.50 15 inch MTRs on it. They rub on the swaybar in the front on hard turns. The back tires are a close fit but clear so far even when we tilted it off axis. Keep in mind I only have a two inch Teraflex lift. We will be trying different offsets and will see what the guys at Off Road Warehouse think. May go with 35s even though I like the 37s look. I am trying not to lift it any more, but might. I like the low sleeper look and Jeanne likes the fact that it is several inches easier to get into compared to Ian's with a regular Teraflex LCG kit.

Will let you know the final results.

Keith,

I think you'll need upwards of three inches of lift, I have about 2 3/4 on my diesel, but its tight, doesn't rub but it might if I let it droop more. It seems that about 3-4" works best for 37s and 2-3 best for 35s.

Also, I noticed in the photos that the paintwork looks excellent, but the rear flares do not look like they were installed according to the directions. Take a look at photo MG_4969, you can clearly see that the flare was put on with out trimming. Trimming is required in most applications to get the flare to fit with a 1/8" gap around the gas filler bezel. Get that fixed up and you'll gain a bit of room in the rear. Instructions (to be improvved shortly) are on page 11 here:
