Yes but, today is Big Saturday, really the last formal day with the raffle tonight. Jeep tears down it's display this evening and everyone leaves tomorrow - well almost everyone. ;)

IE - we shoulda or woulda heard any big news by now!!

Maybe they changed thier minds?

Last year it seemed like all the "BIG" news was on the net within hours???

I have searched high and low and all I found was the JT II concept.....

Maybe it was just a rumor. But if it wasn't, with a recession coming up, I doubt that any car manufacturer would want to spend the millions of $ it takes to launch a new product. Especially if the demand isn't there, especially since the demand for Wrangler's in general has slowed down quite a bit the past few month. There are over 100 Rubicons for sale in a 50 miles radius from where I live... A few month ago you couldn't even find one...

Me too Jason!!

Brad K. on one of the JK forums posted on Monday something like - 'Boy, if you could all see what I'm looking at right now!' - and said he would post pics later in the week - but nada.

Maybe just the JT and or the diesel engine swap available from Jeep.

Oh well, I'll be patient. :(

I haven't seen much of anything....

The coverage from EJS this year sucked big time IMOO. I know there where some big sites and magazines there...but no one really delivered much of anything, especially of the vendor expo. Kinda frustrating. I'm just bitter because I don't get paid to go play and write about it....

I know its probably pretty hard to cover a large event like that effectively but I have seen it done very well, in the past, by others. I wonder what caused the lack of interest this year? At least with web coverage?

I'd go with you to help cover everything....... :D

I too have been a little let down by EJS news coverage...while you all run around to cover all that's happening, I would gladly offer up my photography skills to document your news sleuthing ;).

Last year you couldn't help but stumble over product announcements and news from EJS...I would just love to see a confirmation on a TJ diesel kit or JK engine news.

OK, it seems that we have great interest in this!

Either there was no news or There was no interest on reporting the news back?

It doesn't matter if a coming up recession is real or not, even if you think it is media fabricated, the perception is enough for people to be starting watching their money a little closer and spend less...

I can see that they maybe watching thier money..although we are having a record month bring it on!

EDIT**

Heres a response I got off of ROF

Oh boy ... back to 28 and snow ...

Sorry Jason, I didn't ask about a crate or performance diesel so I can't answer your question. The engineer seemed to be very tight liped about stuff this year other than forget the Hemi in a Rubi. I even asked what was the purpose of releasing a Dana 60 if there were no plans to add a different engine package. Didn't get much of a response other than market demand. Maybe someone more connected and on the in can provide more info.

Got to check out the 4" RE stretch rubi. AEV front end, Gen-Right rear and RE LA using radius arms front and rear.

Hanson's rear bumper latching has been re-designed. The Y or square frames are no longer latched on the bumper. The latching mechanism is now located where the aux pin yoke was located.

I will try to post pic's now
