A few Brute Bed modifications...suggestions

To make the bed more usable for me, I would like to see tie-downs incorporated on the outside of the bed...similar to the original Red brute #1. I like to tarp many loads, and the tie-downs would be very convenient when crossing back and forth across the tarp with the rope.

Also...could there be a provision for sideboards? When wanting to haul a large load of bark or some other light material, a sideboard in front and on the sides would surely increase the amount of material to be hauled. Then remove and hang on the barn wall until next time!

Any chance we might see a Dump bed option???? :D

I don't think you'll see a dump bed direct from us, but we've looked at it and it would be very easy to do.

Thanks Matt. I've mentioned it to Dave somewhere along the way in the past few years, and just wondered what direction AEV might be taking. If the room is there to accomodate the mechanics.....would the bed framing itself be strong enough...or would I need to reinforce it with a solid sheet for better load and stress handling?
