MoparNorm did say that big news was going to come out in May. They were discussing the 3.0 diesel but,... they could of been softly hinting that a Hemi was coming.

For manufacturer's is all about numbers and I can't see enough numbers to justify a hemi option. This is just another fun prototype for them and anyone with a hope and pray for a hemi takes it and speculates on something that will never happen. It's alway fun the dream, but even dreams cost money...it isn't going to happen.

I don't think the V8 option will be a box to check on an order sheet. But, does this open a new door between AEV and Chrysler like the J8 program?

No one with a Hemi in thier jeep is getting much worse gas mileage than the 3.8L, and some are doing 1 or 2 mpg better.

If the cafe standards are gonna affect anything, IMO, they are going to affect the aerodynamincs of the next Wrangler. I bet we say goodbye to the classic boxy design.

I'm not saying I think a factory hemi is coming, but the cafe argument sorta looses steam for me.

Are you kidding? This was built for the CEO of JEEP? By AEV? I cannot possibly see this as anything but an "I'm PRESIDENT of the company and I'm not eating broccoli, but I WILL have the JEEP that I want, even if my company doesn't make it!" :D

Guys, this is rediculous. There is going to be no 392 Wrangler from the factory. This was a leak by someone who didn't know what they were talking about. I'm shutting this down.
