What do you guys think about a 1 inch body lift? Just to get some extra clearance for bigger tires to move up into.

I like to know the same thing. From the research I have done it looks real easy on the auto.

I think it is probably going to boil down to more of a personal preference. It is an inexpensive way to get more lift, but in my opinion, then you are expanding the gap between the AEV bumper and the fender flare. By expanding the gap like this you will have more of what the fender and backside of the bumper is catching being flung forward. I think ultimately it is all going to boil down to opinion.

Personnally, if I have a choice, I will pick function over form. So even thou there is a gap, it doesnn't really concern me that much. I'd rather have the extra room for the tires.

I love vehicles with LCG and big tires. Currently, we've managed to fit 34 inch tires on the JK's with a 2.5 inch front lift and 2 inch rear lift. I've tried flexing it and the only place it seems to rub is on the front sway bar at full lock. Mind you these are stock rubicon rims. I've tried getting the back to make contact somewhere but it doesn't. The back was actually my main concern on the hoist as it was touching the control arm.
