How critical to the drive ability of the lifted WK's is it to run wheels with the recommended +25mm offset or 5.3" backspacing. I've been looking around and have found some wheels (18 x 9 5x5 -12mm offset). If I'm calculating back spacing correctly these wheels have 4". How would these preform compared to the Pintlers for the WK? Also are there any drawbacks to running an 18" wheel?

4" inches of backspacing would produce a tireand wheel combo that protrudes significantly from the vehicle. Extending a few inches from the fenderwall. You may run into more fender cleanrance issues and tire rubbing.

With the extra width of the wheel, and decrease in backspacing you would be looking at about 2" extra protruding from each fender compared to an AEV wheel. If you plan on going off road I probably wouldn't use an 18" wheel myself, as the general rule of thumb is that the wheel should be about 1/2 the diameter of the tire for proper flotation and rim protection. With the 17" a 33-34" tire would be appropriate, 18" tire 35-36" tire would be appropriate. If you are only going to be on road, and never air down your tires, then this would not be a concern.

Do the Pintlers for the WK come with lug nuts? Or can the factory lug nuts be used?

Thanks for the reply Jon...For some reason I did not think that the Argent finish was a painted finish. Can anyone recommend some touch up paint type or color as I have already dinged them up?
