Nice...

A new 6.4 HEMI for the 2012 Cherokee and some graphics on a 2012 Wrangler that is named "Mojave" but it is actually a Sport model with Sahara paint and Rubicon tires.

No mention of a new engine for the 2012 Wrangler...

WOW.

Probably will kill current sales.....I bet you they mention this at the LA auto show after theres dealer stock. Therefore not hurting 2011 sales!!!!

I'm confused Jason...

Are you saying that the release of what looks like a 2011 Wrangler is going to hurt 2011 sales after the 2012 "Mojave" comes out??? I don't see it!

I could see if the "Mojave" had a HEMI, Diesel or the Pentastar... But, it is nothing more than a Sport model with graphics and Rubicon tires.

Unless you are talking about the 6.4 HEMI Cherokee.

The Mojave is nothing more than a limited edition trim package for Wrangler, just like the Black-Ops, Islander and Mountain. It's not really a 2012 model, the 2012 model has slight body changes to accommodate the.... Pentastar and it's transmission.
2012 engine codes have not been released yet because of production issues with building enough Pentastars...but I'm sure the dealer codes are being set-up, if they have not been set-up already.

...and we still have that May announcement...;)

Looking forward to the May announcement...

In the video the "Mojave" was announced as a 2012.

Hopefully when they put the Pentastar into the JK you won't still need to use a starscan to check the transmission fluid like they did on the Grand.

Knowing Jeep's service departments they probably want you to need to come to them to use a special tool to check and service the washer fluid. I can hear it now "That will be a $60 shop charge to diagnose you with low washer fluid, and $20 to fill it.":(

It will be made available as a 2012, but the show mule carrying the graphics package, was a 2011 body.

We already ordered 2011's

I was referring to the Pentastar not the Mohave in the earlier post

:cool:Why doesn't Jeep wise up and offer an "AEV"? That's one I would buy new! I'm looking forward to a factory extended cab Rubicon Pick Up. Maby by 2013?
