I need an 07 Motor!!

A friend of mine did a really stupid thing. Blew through a water crossing and sucked in some water. To make a long story short, motor is toast, it will not be covered under warrenty or insurance. So, we are putting out feelers on getting a motor for it. What do you do with the pulled motors on the V8 conversions jeeps and how much do they go for?? Are there any sites/places one can find salvaged JK's that may have the motor available in them.

I know that until a wiring harnes is developed to make these an easier swap some places are just giving the 3.8 away as long as you pick them up. If you are near the Minneapolis area Burnsville Offroad has given several of these away from what I have heard.
