Brute Builders, somehow we haven't found time to update the Brute instructions with this, but the bed is designed with the intent to bring the bedliner up over the sides of the bed and down ~3/4" to mate up with the horizontal seam on the corners.
This is of course optional, but here is the reasoning: There is no way to form the corners in one piece, so it was decided that if the bedliner were to be brought down to the seam, no one notice the seam, it would protect the bed for the inevitable scratches from dogs and people jumping in and out.
