Has anyone installed an atlas 4-speed with a Nth/AEV Tummy Tucker?

I was wondering if it was possible? Looking at the 4-speed atlas it is about the same general size as the 241 from the Rubicon. It also seems like a 'better' shape because of the front range box.

Thanks for the help.

Yes, an Atlas4 works/fits nicely with the Rubicon version of the TT (soon to be the only version - i.e. with a 'sump'). Assuming the trans is still stock, the trans mount and the skid will fit the t-case with no mods. If I recall correctly, because the sump for the Rubicon t-case is also in the right place for the Atlas4, it will allow them to use the second-highest clocking position, thus lessening (possibly eliminating?) any floor pounding to clear the t-case.

It should be known that I/we have NOT actually done/installed this combo, but AA did give me a mockup t-case to test it, but there was some slight confusion about the clocking because apparently they have two different clocking patterns available and I believe I had the 'normal' one, but don't know what that is really. Also don't have any experience with the new TJ-specific side-by-side shifters.

Bottom line: TT will work nicely, but overall install may or may not be plug-n-play.

Sorry for resurrecting an old post... :o

Have any one done this yet ?

I'm planning to install both the Tummy tucker and Atlas 4 in my 1998 Manual Wrangler sport. :)
