Took some leave this past week and went to Glacier for a bit. Lots of areas are still covered with snow, but the road to the Sun opened last week so that was good. No exciting wheeling pics this time.
On the way up Logan's Pass.

A couple areas of construction which made the trip to the top longer with only one lane, but very much worth it.

Lots of water from the melting snow.

Definately wish I had an AEV Hemi this day. Poor little engine worked it's tail off and whined the whole way.

More water.

Got this Napier tent which hooks to the back of the Jeep so the wife would feel safer with the bears and all, but the ground wasn't level enough. I did get to use the water tanks in the rear bumper for the first time though. Works great.

On the way back to Mt Home AFB we stopped at Craters of the Moon in Idaho. Some very unique camp sites here where you sleep amonst the lava rocks.

I could hardly see out the front of the Jeep when the Sun started to set. I think I smashed half the bugs in MT and ID on the way back.
