Dave (and Friends):
I am curious to know if you have experienced any significant issues with the JK and also what you have done to remedy those issues.

Some that come to mind are:
1. The reported overheating of the auto-tranny and alleged boiling over of ATF.
2. The dangling evaporation canister.
3. Breaking of the trackbar mounts.

I am aware of your close relationship with Jeep and I in no way wish for you to jeopardize that relationship. I simply wish to know if you address or feel the need to address items that have been of concern to current and future JK owners.

I know I am hoping for some full underbody protection for the JK like Nth had for the TJ. This would make it easier if you had to slide over something, and also protect the evap canister. I am also very concerned about the track bar, and boiling over of the tranny. I know some people have installed gussets on the track bar, and tranny coolers to solve these problems, but it seems like there has to be something better.

I will tell you as a JK dealer we have seen about 15 broken tracbar brackets.

Why?

They have all been addition brackets bolted to the original by some lift kit company's which shortcuts the use of a Adj tracbar and adds leverage to the stock bracket.

Other issues mentioned have not been noted

I have buddies with JK's setup mostly the same except for one has the added bracket on trackbar and he broke, the one with no braket is fine... A small weld and additional metal plate is a quick fix for this issue...

I know that the Sky Jacker lifts originally had the track bar bracket breaking because of the bracket they used. They have since added a piece that attaches to the pumpkin to strengthen it, but really an adjustable track bar is the best way to fix this.
