I can seem to find any picts of the AEV pkg. on a JK. Can someone post some?
I'll like to see the 2dr and unlimited with just the base pkg.
thank you.

Here's my Red Rock JK Unlimited Rubicon at AEV after conversion. I also added the Warn 9.5ti winch and IPF 900XS driving beam lights in addition to base package. (Photos courtesy of Dave)

that looks great. i am trying to decide on getting just the base package w/winch and lights, or the full out expedition package. i could save a good deal of cash now and add the lift and tires later as you did... thanks for the pics.

Thanks HayashiK1, that's a really good looking jeep you are getting. I think this is the first time I see an AEV JK with the 32's, AEV photo gallery only shows the JK with 35's or 37's.
I must say I am pleasantly surprised, looks really good... I think I am a bit jealous.:)

I am in the same boat... and I don't really need 35's especially with the price of gas which is well over $4 here in South Cal. I would probably add a 2" lift and a winch... that's about it... well, maybe I would indulged myself with the new AEV snorkel...:D

I think it looks really nice with the base package. Did the front springs get changed to keep the front from sagging with the weight of the winch?

I asked about front end sagging with additional weight at the very beginning before they started installation; and I was informed that weight was accounted for.

Only thing I am sure of getting is AEV Rear Bumper. I am debating anything from staying stock to 4 inch lift and 37's. After getting a winch and lights, items that I don't have from expedition package are 35s, suspension, and speedometer re-calibration.
After reading the thread about Nth Degree suspension system in this forum, I am really considering the lift for additional safety in better handling in addition to benefits offroad.

Adding a lift won't equal better handling, actually quite the opposite partly because of a higher center of gravity. Keep in mind that most people that add a 3+ inches and 35's or 37's tires are people that want to do super hard core rock crawling, going 5 mph for most of the trail... If your JK is going to be your daily driver you might re-think your choice. For all other off road applications, including rock crawling, the stock Rubicon is all you need, actually it's already overkill for most people... The Rubicon trail is considered a very hard core trail, and the stock JK is able to do it without any problems.

That is exactly why I am going with AiRock on the JK, and then the Nth arms when they come out. 1" lift on the highway to clear a 37" tire, and up to 9" of lift off road with an active suspension management to help keep the ride smooth and level.

Somewhereinla,
I agree and understand that adding a lift generally does not mean better handling or generally mean worse handling because of high center of gravity. But I am saying this based on this post in Nth JK Suspension thread.
Thanks for the info Dave! For all you potential AEV JK buyers like me, I had the great fortune of being at AEV yesterday and talking with Dave, Kent, and Jim Frens, the suspension engineer.
I got to drive a 4-door Jk with the Superlift suspension and 37's. I really liked it, and thought it was a very good ride. I then got to ride in the 4-door JK with the prototype Nth suspension and 37's. Gentlemen and ladies, this is the one you want!! If you ever driven down the road in a stock Jeep and was afraid to jerk the steering wheel left or right because the of the possibility of rolling over, this suspension will qualm those fears. With the ESP on, I was totally impressed with the emergency handling of the Jeep. You will feel much more comfortable at highway speeds with this suspension. I had ridden in one of Nth's TJ Jeeps before with their long-arm suspension and couldn't believe a Jeep could handle like that. Now Jim and Dave has taken that to the JK's. They still have a little fine tuning to do (according to Jim) and then they should be rolling!
Dave, I hope you don't mind me posting this, but I was so excited when I left AEV yesterday about the Nth Jk's, and then I read your post this morning that I had to respond and let your customers know about my ride in the JK. You're definitely going in the right direction, so thanks!
Mike

JeepinJon,
Thanks for your comment about Airock. I will have to check into that. It sounds like a great idea!! :D

Here's mine, I just got it two weeks ago :)
Base package + leather seats and seat heaters. Dave added wheel spacers at the shop as I plan to go with 35's when I step up to the Nth suspension.

Sorry about that, they are: Dave made sure I had the right wheels with backspacing so I wouldn't need spacers, sorry to mis-inform...

I know I was kind of thinking the same thing. I have only seen pictures of one 2 door conversion on AEV's site, and would like to see others since this is the route I am thinking of going. Just doesn't seem very popular now that the four doors have come out.

I'll see if I can scrounge some two door photos. There are plenty of them out there.

I know I am digging up an old thread here...but... just curious. Is there still the "base package" option? The JK Builder part of the website doesn't really show anything unless you use the lift with 35" or 37". My budget will allow for the base items and then add the lift and big tires later...can't really swing the whole deal all at once though. Thanks.

JeepFreak,
The answer to your question is yes. We will still do the base package.
Just give one of our sales guys a call ((406) 251-2100) and we can tailor the build to exactly what you want, and can afford, right now.
Thanks and have a Great Holiday.

I had been wondering if the base still existed. Glad to know, because in a couple of years when we throw away the money on JK, we might as well get it customized by people that know what they're doing. :D

I know this is an old thread, but I thought it would be nice to see some of the pictures originally included.
Are there any other "base" package pictures out there?
I am hoping to find someone with a 2011 sahara tan with black wheels and all the other options.
