View Full Version : Nth Tummy Tuck
Hi I just got a 6 month old tummy tuck from a friend of mine with a 2000 TJ that decided to go TnT long arms.
My question is, wil it work for my 1997 TJ that has a NV3550 ? Also where can I get instructions on line for it ?
Or if anyone has soft copy of the instructions could they send it to me.
Thank you

The main thing you need to know is if its for an automatic or a manual. They are not interchangeable. Also, check to see if it has all of the correct TAB kit parts: Exhaust Hanger, Transmission Bracket, and the fasteners. You can e-mail AEV for the correct instructions. It would also be a good time to make sure you have all of the correct fasteners.
the exhaust hanger and transmission bracket is one piece correct ? I have that and all the fastners. Also it came off a manual tj and mines a manual too.
I'll try and email aev.
Thanks mate

You should be fine: the p/n for both years with a 4.0L/manual combo is Nth14010. If the TT kit is as new as you say, the trans bracket and exhaust hanger will be two separate pieces that bolt together. The way to know for sure that you have a bracket for a manual (TT needs to be for a manual too as mentioned) is that the TAB for a manual has four countersunk holes in it, the auto has none.
Nth did the change to a two-piece TAB design nearly two years ago to make it easy to reconfigure the TT for use with an NthLA, which moves the exhaust inboard toward the tranny.
I've attached the instructions here since we don't have them online yet...

Yup...no problem at all. Only VERY early TT's from Nth (before spring '05) were not "LongArm Ready" and required some trimming and holes drilled. All later TT's and even those shipping from AEV are completely LA-ready as they come and as I've mentioned elsewhere, there is nearly 100% interchangeability between late-Nth and AEV-Nth parts...
