Some of you may have noticed that things are looking a little different around here. Last night we launched our brand new website and we couldn't be happier about it. The clean, easy to navigate interface is a big upgrade from our old website and we think it will make learning about and discovering our products a more enjoyable experience. In the coming weeks and months, I will be adding to and tweaking the content on our new site. Many of you have been loyal AEV customers for years and your input is important to us, so leave a note here with any thoughts. We want this new iteration to provide all the information that our last website did and more, but we also want it to be much more intuitive. If there is a PDF or webpage you found was helpful to you in the past and it is no longer available, let me know and I will do my best to incorporate it into our new format.

As I discussed on the Facebook thread a couple weeks back we will be launching social media efforts soon so that we can give everyone more ways of interacting with AEV. Exciting times!

Thanks for your support and Happy New Year!

Looks really really good! Nice job for sure!

Question: How come Wilson's 4x4 is not listed as a dealer on your dealer search page?

Thanks, Ben

Looks like the website is experiencing much higher than normal traffic and is flickering on and off. We're working on it and should be back at full capacity soon.

Thanks for your patience everyone.

The site looks great. However, I noticed that there is not one single picture of a JK 2 door in the gallery or anywhere in plain sight on the site. I know that the 4 door accounts for most of AEV's sales but it's discouraging as a 2 door owner to not see any pics of how my 2 door could eventually look if I run your products. Maybe the 2 door pics haven' been added yet. In that case, I look forward to seeing them.

The Big Brake Kit for TJ has a slightly misleading image.
http://www.aev-conversions.com/shop/shop-by-category/brakes/tj-big-brake-kits-front.html

It says "17-inch Big Brake Kit" with a price and an add-to-cart button, but what you really are adding is the 16" kit. You have to choose the 17" one from a drop down menu, and the price then goes up accordingly.

Good catch! We needed to add that text to each of the brake kit images because the items included in each package differ and people like to see exactly what they're buying. An easy fix is to simply show the 16-inch kit as the first image you see so it corresponds with the price you see below, which is what I've done.

Thanks!

This didn't go unnoticed by us and it is something we're working on. Because of the prevalence of 4-doors in our company fleet we do lack good photography of 2-doors. Getting some good photos of 2-doors into our galleries is one of the priorities for us in the next few months.

Thanks for your feed back!

There is some confusion about the heat reduction hood.

According to the packages on the website it is included in JK231 and JK231R.
This is also mentioned on the Option sheet.

But if you look in the Full Oder Guide, the hood is marked as an option on JK231 and JK231S.

Is it included in JK231 or not ?

The new website looks awesome. Really nice job. I did find one mistake though. In the Education Section -Frequently Asked Questions - JK Snorkel Kit- it says the snorkel is made in "beautiful" Detroit. I've been to Detroit.:)

It's subjective. You should see it when, uh, the light is right?

I hadn't spent much time in the Education section until today, I realized I was there a good hour reading about all sorts of things, I even learned something new. I like that we have a section to quickly address issues, concerns, and questions like that, for people that don't get into the forums.

Congratulations! Very Good :)

Any idea for your website. Possibly have video's comparing and demonstrating your products so potential customers understand each product prior to purchasing.

Also, include videos of your jeeps in the outback performng the tuff climbs as well as expedition runs.

IE 8.0.7601.17514 on Windows 7. Browsing from Hong Kong, in the off-chance that it's some cdn or great-firewall-of-china thing.

There was some conflicting information posted initially, we are in the process of making some slight changes to package content for 2012. The Hood was not included in the JK231 during CY 2011, but has been added for 2012. To minimize confusion, we've temporarily taken down the old order guide. We expect to have the new order guide finalized within the next couple days, and then we'll get that back online.

Love the new look, but there is one thing that I think could stand changing, and has been mentioned in at least one other thread: your phone numbers.

You've got the Contact Us right on the main menu which is great and what most people come to expect when visiting a company site, however the only thing there is a form to submit. What if I'm looking to contact you by phone, or by snail mail...carrier pigeon perhaps?

I was able to find that info under Company > Offices after poking around a bit, but it seems like this is natural info to be accessed via "Contact Us".

Just a thought and like I said, love the new look!

I don't see a gallery of SEMA vehicles any more. Is that still floating around somewhere?

Mr. Boh

I too miss the section on the SEMA vehicles. Heck, I miss the pictures from your original website that had the very first AEV conversions. Would be nice if you had a "past vehicles" section in the gallery showing some of your long wheelbase conversions and other early TJ conversions.

But I have the say, the new website is very pleasing. Nice work.

Expanding the image gallery on our site is something we're working on. As you'd expect we have a lot of photography and we're working our way through it so we can provide you guys with the best of what we've got. We'll definitely look at getting old SEMA pics into a gallery of their own.

Thanks!

As you guys do this can you add a caption to each photo with lift height, tire size, etc...

[b]We were at the edge of divorce when I decided to try this. Years and years without delight of orgasm and sexual satisfaction. This could ruin any life but not ours. Female Viagra (http://vexron.com/) worked and I always keep the pill near my bed as nobody knows when my wife asks for more sex. By the way, kamagra pills (http://tunedump.com/) works not worse than brand, so next time I can save my money

You're not the only person requesting pictures of 2-door rigs. Unfortunately our company fleet is full of 4-doors! We're planning on adding a customer rig gallery to the site which should remedy that issue :)

p.s. We fixed the issue of the navigation wrapping to the next line on iPads and smartphones.
