Velocity Yellow Brute

No name, yet.. I barely know her.

Recently converted.. just painted a month ago. The color is Velocity Yellow. It had half doors; I picked up a pair of really nice full doors for it. They'll be sprayed eventually.

No high-line.. would be nice, but for now, that money is better spent on doing something about the 2.5L under the hood.

The wheels are Mamba 17s.

Not many pictures to share, and none coming for a while.. she's tucked into the corner of the shop for the winter.

...although I do have some plans afoot if I can swing them. ;)

When I pulled into the industrial complex where this shop is, it attracted a lot of attention. A bunch of guys came over and we threw it on the lift and gave it a good going over.

Fresh yellow paint looks great, make sure you go Hi line and get some black bits on her to offset it :).

You are so right. I was dead-set against the color when I saw it in pictures, but when I saw it in person, it convinced me. I'm thinking some rockers, a cargo cage, and stickers all in black will help balance it out.

I saw that on ebay, you got that for a great price! Plenty of room for upgrades or a hemi, suspension, you can do alot for what you got it for, welcome, and good luck with her.

Thanks! Yeah, it was a great price. I was surprised it didn't generate more interest. Still am. I know it's not the hemi/long-arm/high-line turn-key mega Brute, but for the money, it's got so much. :confused::confused: It was advertised for sale here, too, and didn't get a single response! I looked hard for anything wrong that might have been throwing people off, but didn't see it. In that picture above where it's on the lift, we checked out every weld, extended brake line, extended fuel line, etc.. everything is very well done.

I couldn't buy a 99 wrangler w/ <70k miles and a brute kit for what I paid for this.

I think it was the 2.5 that kept most people away.





Looks much better with full doors on.
