i hydrolocked my 5.7 and was left with no other choice but to put in a 6.1 in it. Took about two months for my local jeep dealership to figure it out. deferent fuel system, exhaust, computer, oil pans, and a few other holdups and they finished. they built a custom exhaust system, installed the original fuel system from the 5.7 cutting off the mds system and then had the computer reprogrammed by b&g. Tons and tons of power now, 10mpg city, 13 hwy a little better then i got before.sounds nasty. 7000 miles on new engine and no problem, no check engine lights no nothing.
