Sorry for spilling the beans, saw a release by a vendor about it, and was suprised it wasn't here first.

At this point there's really no spilling of any beans, we just need another week to get the website dialed and some other minor things before we open it up to the public.

djb_rh, Feel free to post pics here when the Jeep arrives.

So does this bolt up to the stock transmission? Obviously I still need to source the motor, but I didn't see anything other than the cross member and mount listed. Could I reuse the 6-speed in mine?

The kits available next week are designed for the 5-45 Transmission only. We may be adding other transmissions in the future, but the stock transmission will never work.

Will AEV also sell the motor and the transmission for the kit?

We can sell all the required parts from Mopar including the engines and transmissions.

On a side note, just so everyone is aware and can help spread the word, when using a dropout powertrain, the 05-08 Jeep Commander and Grand Cherokee is ideal. The 6.1 out of the Grand Cherokee will still need the transmission from the 5.7 for now, although we are working on a kit that uses the A580 Mercedes Transmissions as well, so that the SRT8 Grand Cherokee and the 5.7/6.1 powertrains from the cars will work.

The kit is NOT set up for the Dodge Ram and Durango versions of the 5.7 with the different front accessory drive and intake location.

What about the new 5.7 Hemi?

Can AEV supply the new 5.7 Hemi with 390hp and 417 Torque?

We'll be able to make that determination later this year when the motor is released.
