I just got the Heat Reduction Hood. And I am having problems with lining up the seams. When I get them even with the part closest to the door mirrors, I go to open and close it and it catches on the inside part of the hinge. I raise it up just enough to not do that and it does not line up. Help???

Buster04, I can't help with your hood problem, but can you tell me where you got your radio antenna? Very cool - does it work as well as factory?

Thanks

Looks like the hood isn't damaged or anything, probably just not quite adjusted properly. You'll need to remove the wiper blades and then remove the cowl cover. Once that is done, there are four bolts that hold the hood on (13mm socket), you can lower the hood slightly (probably won't be much more than a mm or so. Be careful though, if you just tighten it down it will be high on the right side (like yours is, the left side didn't look as off) because the action of tightening the bolt will raise the hood slightly. Sometimes, you'll have to position the hood slightly lower, so that when the bolt is tightened the hood will end up in the correct position.

Then adjust the cowl sides to match the curvature of the hood by loosening the two bolts shown in the photo below. Adjust by sliding the panel in and out then re-tighten the bolts.

Reinstall the cowl cover and wipers.
