Any idea when you will have these back and available in the channel?

The mold had been down for service but I am told it is up and running as of today. It shouldn't take too long for the pipeline to fill back up. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Any update? Still backordered status on my order, and it's been almost a month. Is the mold back up and running?

You will probably hear back sooner if you call.

Mine's been on backorder since before I posted here the first time over a month ago. Haven't seen many of the AEV folks posting updates as of the last few weeks. And Quadratec (where I ordered from) said they had no info either.

Suggest calling AEV directly.

Anyone from AEV care to update?

I've been on back-order for over two months now. Quadratec still tells me I am customer #2 on the list, but that AEV is telling them these are still unavailable and so I sit in backorder, patiently waiting with no update forthcoming. When I called AEV (last month) I was told they were back in production and shipping, and that Qadratec was the first company for fulfillment. Never got it, and Quadratec tells me when I call that they haven't received a shipment in months. No idea who to believe at this point.

Any info appreciated. I realize that with this demand, no one will probably care, but I'm getting really close to just cancelling and getting a River Raider instead, which considering all the other AEV products I've bought, would be a shame. But I've missed enough trips (or at least legs of trips) now from not having a snorkel and getting frustrated.

The only way to know for sure quickly at the moment is to call them. I am pretty sure they are all pretty busy at the moment getting everything finished for SEMA, and so for the next couple weeks we probably won't see much of anyone from AEV on here. Have you tried contacting Northridge 4x4? I know they are a stocking vendor, and last I knew they had them in stock, and then you get free shipping too.

The problem is I've called AEV twice, and both times neither date they gave me materialized. First time they told me the mold had been down but it was fixed now and they would be dropping a shipment to my vendor within two weeks. A month later, I called and was told that the mold was working but they didn't like the quality from the batch I was supposed to get, so they started over and it would be within two weeks.

The very frustrating part of this is that I'm getting fed what seems to be a line when I call, because a friend of mine got his within the two weeks I was promised (from another supplier), but I never got anything. And when I called Quadratec, they also called AEV (while I was on hold) and said that AEV told them nothing was currently available and no ETA, within a day of me calling the second time and being told two more weeks.

I've looked at other places, but don't want to cancel my order and then end up at the back of the queue. I realize this is their board and they have a lot of supportors, but I got a similar run-around when I tried to set up a Hemi conversion. So far, I see no real interest in working with a customer - I've only gotten anything from AEV when I buy from them directly and don't ask any questions.

I've only had one other company treat me this way and it was Hennessey performance when I tried to get the SRT600 kit done. Ended up taking my business elsewhere - constant promises, no delivery. But hey, I'm just one customer, so who cares, right?

I would call Screaming Lizard, and Northridge 4x4 and if they have it order with them, and cancel with Quadratec. In the past they have always stocked these items, and have not had to drop ship them. If they don't have them then nothign is lost.;)

Sorry for the delays, our information is only as reliable as what we get from suppliers. But I can confirm that we now have parts coming in, and a truck left for Quadratec yesterday.
