I was wondering if there was any thought put into creating a highline fender kit for the JK. I know the there is a lot more room in the fender than the TJ / LJ, but it would be nice to be able top run a 35 with no lift, or a 37 with like 2-3" of lift.

The JK already has a highline! Just add tube fenders and there you go!!

I know the tube fenders work, but I am not a fan of the look. I would prefer to keep it more stock looking like the highline fenders on the TJ. I was not a fan of the tube fenders on the TJ / LJ either.

The more I think about this the more I would like to see a OEm looking flat fender ( like was installed on the Kubota orange Jeep Wranger Rubicon King) without the side marker light. Is this something that AEV has ever thought of doing, or know where the parts can be sources. I know it should be as simple as just cutting the stock fender except for the marker light that will still leave a hole. For thos who aren't familiar with what I am talking about here is a picture. http://www.project-jk.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=6712&g2_serialNumber=2

Agreed. Flat fenders look homemade. Their style clashes with the lines of the jeep and don't look as though they belong.
...still waiting for a JK Highline kit.

I'm sure this fender is just a custom job... Cut the stock fender, body fill the side marker hole and repaint... With decent auto body experience and a paint resource it wouldn't be that expensive to do... Probably the same price as a premade Highline kit when painted...

The fender flares on the orange Jeep above were just modified OE flares. As stated, cut, patched, filled, painted. Same with the grille. Turn signals were integrated into the headlights using hotrod parts.
