A quick note about the EGRM and programming confirmation at the end of the programming routine (horn chirp).
Its come to my attention that certain models of WK/WH/XK/XH will not honk at the end of programming. Nor will the mirror tilt function be enabled.
The reason is that Laredo or certain packages do not have the ability to tilt the mirrors, the hardware is different. This also creates an irrationality error in the programmer just before the horn honks.
Now, in these vehicles, aside from the mirror tilt (which just won't work without the correct mirrors and controller) and the horn confirmation, everything else is programmed and works. This issue is corrected for all new modules.
To reiterate; The tire size, axle ratio, one touch lane change, day time running lamps, and all other parameters are correctly programmed. As of right now with these first modules the only confirmation will be the correction of a speedometer and the enabling of one touch lane change (check to confirm the blinker does or does not blink three times).
Its an odd issue, sorry for the inconvenience.
