Hey fellas. I emailed these pics over to Mike R and Chris W today and I figured I'd share them over here too.
I still think the AEV bumper is the best looking one on the market as it is, I just wanted to mix it up a bit and go with some flat fenders and I didn't think it would look good with the full width bumper, so........

I like it, how much work was it to do that? I saw another thread without the hoop, I think a non hoop stubby would be great...

For a stubby that is the best looking one I have seen so far.

Thanks.
It was about 5 hours of work in total. I had a buddy at our performance shop do it for me. It will look a lot better once I get the flat flares on it.

Hey Bricktop,
Nice work! Do you have a straight-on picture like the before shot?

Sweet. I had been pondering doing a rendering of a stubby.

If AEV made this bumper, I would buy it.. By far the nicest Stubby I have ever seen.

Hey brick, tell us about those IPF lights? Size? Specs? Price? (:
Since upgrading my headlights, my PIAA driving lights make no difference - I'm going to need to upgrade them.

I just wanted to bump this.
AEV: Plans? Thoughts?
Would you mod one if anyone asked?

I think you should be working for AEV! Looks great.
In AEV's defense, they design for offroad expeditions more than rock crawling. I can see the need for a full width. But being a rock crawler... I like what you did. Common AEV you could sell less metal for the same money! Let us choose. Would love one for my TJ!
Would place the order today!

I agree. That AEV stubby is the best looking bumper I have seen for the JK. It is perfect for the guys running flat flares. Full width bumpers look kind of silly with the flat flares imo.

I would not be surprised if AEV was working on flat flares.

I wish. Can't find anything that I think would look good with the bumper.

I prefer the full-width with factory flares but...
Metal Cloak Flat Fenders might look pretty good with a stubbied AEV Front Bumper.

Sent you an email. How's it holding up? Any suggestions for those thinking about doing the same?
