How about an update on life with the White Diesel Jeep. I think that this jeep is by FAR the coolest real world practical jeep AEV has produced to date. Its a shame it can't really be replicated easily. Please post up some new pictures too!!

I am pretty sure that Dave still owns this one.

This summer when I drove by the shop it was looking all lonely with no flares...just sitting there :(

It was missing the hood in September.

Yeah its mine and I plan on keeping it. It had a prototype Highline set of fenders, flares and a hood on it which all needed to be replaced with production stuff. The good news is I dropped all the new stuff off at the paint shop last week, so it will be back up and running soon.

Could you post up some more pictures of the Radius arm conversion also please?

In the video on the AEV web site it said that this swap did not make sense from a business poit of view. Also from the few that I have seen and heard of they tend to be more complex, and expensive to complete than the Hemi swap. Just my 2 cents.

No not cummins...unless you could make the marine 2.8L they have work. I was thinking of something from the South American market :)

No BL. The Jeep is getting a rear 4.5" Nth Long Arm and TT sometime after Moab. Keeping the Rover arms up front, but adding some Nth stuff up there too.

Why did you go with the Range Rover front suspension and what vehicle is it from? Just curious what all benefits this allowed and how much trouble it was.

Sorry found the thread on the 3rd page, how difficult is this to duplicate by an individual?

The CRD oil pan hangs to low for the TJ/LJ upper control arms...I am sure it is not hard to do....

I don't think its the oil pan...its the motor mounts. I think. The CRD accessory mounting puts the power steering pump and a/c pump in a low location also.

X2 I think it was the motor mounts and the oil pan hangs lower rsulting in a need for a LA or rover suspension
