Jeep unlimited Question

I need a little jeep history help.

Did all 04-06 Unlimited jeeps come with the Dana 44 REAR axle?

Only 04-05.5 came with the 5 speed, correct?

Was there ever a 04-05.5 Rubicon Unlimited with a 5-speed?

Heres a little history:

Jeep unlimited first released Feb 2004.5

Autos only, gray interior only

2005's
Auto or 6 speed manual
Khaki Interior offered
Rubicon Model offered Dec/Jan 2005
Impact orange offered
Electric Lime green Offered

2006
Yellow offered "Again"

Dana 44 Rear standard on all Unlimted models w/disk brakes

So jeep never offered an unlimited with a 5 speed?

NOPE...The 2004.5 was only available in Auto..then 6 speed in 2005/2006

Ok....bummer.

I have been doing some research for my next project. It would be a LOT easier to adapt the engine I have in mind to a nv3550. I guess I will have to sell the 6 speed and go back to the 5 speed.
