Took delivery of my 15" Brute and love it! Question, I am an avid bike rider and haul my mountain and road bikes all over the place. I have been using a Thule hitch mount carrier, but want to do something in the bed. I have a bed mount system from Thule that goes side to side and uses tension to secure. Given the fact that the bed is composite, is this going to cause any issues? Also, I noticed on your site, the white DC has two bikes mounted in the bed. Did you mount directly to the top of the bed? Just trying to come up with a secure, simple solution instead of the hitch mount.

Also, I never recd my packet from AEV with all the owners info, etc, only a catalog. In addition, never recd the window sticker, which I would like to have for my records. Been about a month since I took delivery. BTW, the DC cab was purchased from Saquanhan in PA, shipped directly from AEV to me. Thanks Bill

    Hey Dave,

I was told by your staff that I'd be getting a new (new old stock) beadlock pintler wheel. That was months ago with no word from anyone there. I sent a follow-up email to Eric Matney on 3/23 but I received no response. Would you please let me know what the status is? I have a dead wheel on my tire carrier and want to get this wrapped up.

A while back, I purchased a set (5) of Pintler Bead Lock wheels from Quadratec for my JK. Sadly, I have only had the vehicle off road a couple of times and have not done so in several years. Recently, one of the wheels stopped holding air and I discovered it had cracked along the outer spoke, right at the valve stem.

There has been no impact to the wheel whatsoever. I can send you photos that show no impact markings on the tire (35" Goodyear Wrangler with Kevlar), wheel or bead lock ring.

I contacted AEV and have been dealing with Eric Matney (ext 221). He has offered to replace the one wheel with a regular Pintler wheel as the bead locker has been discontinued. That won't work for me as I would be stuck with mismatched wheels. I bought a set of 5 wheels to have matching wheels and I'm disappointed in the proposed solution. I paid a lot of money for your wheels (and bumpers, etc.) because I love the engineering and the warranty you offer. I only want what I had and paid for.

    Can you help me?

Please get back to me and let me know if there is something else we can work out.

Last year I purchased a JK unlimited (Fully loaded 4.5" conversion) through one of your CA, dealers (Jim Manning Dodge) and I love it! However I have a couple questions (concerns) I'm hoping you can help me with.

The reason I'm asking you is because it pertains to the snow and larger tires where you have greater experience than I do. My old 97 TJ did amazing in the snow and my JK just wont float like the TJ did. I have both your bumpers, and a winch but I don't carry much else besides some recovery gear and backpacking gear to keep weight down, I would be surprised if I have added 100lbs to the jeep after delivery weight. This year I had more trouble getting around then I ever have! I am on the Sheriff Dept. Search and Rescue Team and need to find a way to access remote portions of the Sierras, during the winter. I know the 37" BFG's fit and clear everything but do you know or have you ran a bigger tire on your personal JK and if so how much bigger were you able to go? I'm thinking BFG MTR's or GY MTR/K 38/14.50R17 or 39.5/13.5R17 I-Rocks for the winter on my Beadlock Pintler's next year if they will fit. I have read where you said 40s just wont package but I'm tempted to add some bump stop and run larger tires during the deep snow months to get this thing to float. Have you experimented with this yourself?

    Thanks for your time,
