Highline hood Jeep TJ

Whats the deal with the highline hood for the jeep TJ? It has been out of stock since last year. Are you planning on making more of them or will it be more likely discontinued before another batch? Is there another way I get ahold of one?

The best bet it monitoring the parts for sale section on this forum. With the TJ being nearly 2 models old, we are looking forward to focusing our efforts on the upcoming JL.

People were told that hoods would be back in stock February -a little more insight would be great. Seems a lot of people use this hood.

Yeah I guess there is still a pretty high demand for them, all companies I have talked to are sold out and waiting on more to fulfill backorders. If I knew this, I would have reconsidered my highline fenders... which I cannot install until I either get this hood or buy a factory hood and cut it down.

I am also now stuck, i have a huge pallet of parts coming based off the availability of the TJ highline hood. How can the brute kits still be on the price sheet and none of the stuff ppl actually want!

There is a company based out of California somewhere called trailer products. I ordered their high-line hood but it seems as if were made for the poison spider high-line. Its the same hood used on the PSC Big Daddy build. It needs probably 1/2" trimmed out if it to fit right. But it may be an option for you. http://www.off-roadfiberglass.com/ You have to contact them for ordering since its not on their website. You can get it in carbon fiber and standard fiberglass. The carbon hood is incredibly lightweight. Just like the JK the louvers dont function.

there's also another company out of Fullerton,CA that seems to offer a fiberglass highline hood option. I haven't had a chance to see one in person but it seems to be a nice option.

Aev is the only company who offers a metal highline hood. I placed an order through northridge 4x4. The price is a little higher at $999 but they are still offering them and they said they should be available sometime in july. Hope this helps you guys.
