    Warn Zeon 10s install

Any vids of doing a Zeon install in an already mounted AEV bumper?

    Warn Zeon 10s install

I don't have any video, but I took a few pics when I installed my 9.5cti in my already installed AEV tubeless front. Basically, plan on a removal and reinstall of the bumper. I didn't have to take the frame brackets off, but everything else had to come off to put the winch plate and winch on, then I could reinstall the bumper.

Cool thanks. Did you have to do any trimming or mods to make it fit?

Other than the plastic bumper filler, no trimming or cutting.

You have to completely remove the factory vacuum pump bracket from the frame. The plastic trim piece also has to be trimmed different when using a Zeon. Other than that it's the same as installing the 9.5 CTI.

            Warn

Well I added an M.O.R.E. bracket (for the ARB Compressor) but I used it to hold my Warn Platinum control head that I relocated under the hood. Perfect fit, steady platform for it.

I'll clean up my wiring when it's a little warmer, but I think I am finally out of room under the hood!

Here is my Zeon 10 S Platinum. Fits great. I really like that you can engage and disengage the clutch right from the wireless remote. Click image for larger version

Is the remote clutch wiring (the 4 flat plug) rubbing on your grill? Im haven't installed my new bumper and winch (awaiting a little body work from a fender bender) and I'm worried now that that wiring (which isn't on the normal zeon obviously) will eventually fail if it is constantly rubbing.

                        wires

No, the wiring is fine, but the winch fit is super tight. That was part of the reason I moved the control pack, but the body of the winch is still mm away from the grill.

Did you have to do any major mods for this winch to fit?

No nothing. It fit right in the bumper. It is right up against the grill, but no mods to get it in there.
