Default Front End rake

Rake on a XL is not very noticeable in person. Some of those pics vary wildly depending on perspective

Edit: bet the rake on a gasser will be more than a diesel - my bumper with winch was something like 400lbs. What we really need is a 300lb rear bumper with 100lbs spare tire/hilift/and pullpal then it would be perfect!

All,

Kent did get back to me as he had been out of the office for the holidays etc. I was asked to take my rig to a local shop here in Illinois. The shop did some specific measurements and found that my rig was within specs.

"The measurements gathered today from your truck indicate the springs have not yielded or failed in any way and the suspension is setup exactly how it was designed. "

Is that it? Tough luck?

I have stock suspension and am interested in a leveling kit. I don't tow with this truck nor do I carry anything close to its capacity. Does anyone know what measurements you get with the DS Suspension? I'm thinking of just installing the front suspension and leaving the back alone.

With their kit it lifts the front 3" and the rear 2", with solid spacers. With 3" in the front and none in the rear, I would suspect it would look a little low in the back.

One thing that might help without changing the suspension is to use a synthetic winch rope. That easily sheds 50 lbs of the front. Therfore the sag should be a little less.

I have a 3500 and mine sits fairly level with ALL AEV components installed. I did notice too, the 2500 are higher in the rear.
