Default Ram Prospector XL Power Steering

Is the power steering system upgraded in the Ram Prospector builds?

In Wrangler world, the power steering system dies prematurely trying to keep up with even 35" tires. So I was wondering how AEV solves this with their ram builds. Or if it's not an issue.

Hasn't been an issue on standard Prospectors (37s), on the XL (40s) we upgrade to a hydro assist unit. That unit could be installed on a 37 truck if it were to see severe off road duty, but most seeing that kind of use are XLs.

Would the handling be improved if one were to add the hydro to a 37 equipped truck?

Hydro assist doesn't care what size tire you have and I will tell you that once you have it you will want it on everything. It is a phenomenal upgrade for these trucks.
