I can't get mine to lower the threshold either.

I found that the new insert has different directions, but they're not exact. When I added "12" to the 16 to get to a threshold of "28 psi" it kept setting to 36 psi. So I decided "16" is actually "24" and when I added "4" it reset to 28 psi like I had been trying all along.

Default Additional experiences with ProCal

Just finished a '14 JKUR build and experimented with setting tire size and every thing else but tire pressure. Every thing tested seem to work except for one attempt where I inverted the switch settings. Don't recall which. Restored VIN and all seemed well....until later.

A day or so later found the engine would over heat with prolonged idle. No radiator fan operation. Dealer diagnosis was...."Radiator fan was turned off, but we reprogrammed it and it works fine now".

The obvious conclusion is ProCal is not idiot proof and it took this idiot to prove it. I do not think this is incontrovertible proof that the ProCall caused it, but beware that your error(s) may have consequences. Have a good relation ship with the dealer, and good luck.

Phil

Default Follow up Additional experiences with Pro Cal

Learned a lesson. Don't be too quick to assume, or assign blame.

Seems Jeep shipped some number of 2014 Jeep Wrangler vehicles with the cooling fan turned off by default.

TSB 08-069-13 covers the issue.; There is no excuse for this!

It wasn't my fault!!

Installed the AEV seat covers today across the entire 2014 JKRU. They are by bar the best fitting highest quality seat cover I have ever used. The material is perfect. I did the wretched German Shepherd dog hair test and it's amazing how hair won't penetrate the cordura fibers. The install was a little under 45 minutes. Every strap was the right length and the fit was just perfect. I'm starting to see a pattern with everything AEV does...

Where did you get the Camera and how did you make it compatible with the touch screen radio? I've been wanting to add this feature to my Jeep since I bought it....all of 3 weeks ago..haha

I ordered my Jeep and then had it sent directly to AEV for a up fit.
