    AEV Products for Jeep CJ's?

    Subject: PINTLER BEADLOCK WHEELS

Message: i have a 1983 Jeep CJ7 ground up rebuild, chevy 350, lift, paint and is a very nice rig. its set up to wheel but looks and drives great on the road. i didnt cut into the body, kept it stock from that perspective.

I have been waiting for several years to replace my outdated 15/8 steel wheels and 33 in tires. The only wheels that I am interested in deploying are the 17x 8.5PINTLER BEADLOCK WHEELS!!

However, with a the 5.5 bolt pattern, dana 35 axel in the front and a ford 9 inch 5 lug in the rear axel they will not fit the CJ application.

honestly, after confirming this with AEV sales, i am shocked that AEV would not have a conversion kit to make these wheels fit or plans to offer this style wheel for my application?

Are there any others out there that would appreciate AEV designing products for CJ's?

    Guess I'm just venting here!

Really? You're mad because AEV doesn't make CJ parts? AEV isn't even making TJ parts anymore (other than the Brute) why would you actually be bent out of shape because they don't make parts for a CJ?

But ok, to each their own.

I don't think there'd be an ROI on it. A lot of money goes in to bringing something to market, and if the sales need isn't there, it wouldn't be worth it.

Doe spider trax make any? Only big advantage of AEV doing that bolt pattern would be for J8 axles and dyantrac 60's which use the 5x5.5 instead of the 5x5 on jk's and 5x4.5 on tj's
