My suggestion at this point, is if it doesn't say AEV on the product.. any company can simply create something similar by design. So is counter fitting or simply companies competing for your business..

The most copied AEV product is the one that had their name molded into it (the snorkel). Even the product having their name and logo on it hasn't kept counterfieters from reproducing it, and reusing the AEV images, even on some with the AEV logo not photoshopped off the snorkel.
