Default Warn 8274 on AEV/Mopar Rock Crawler Bumper?

Has anybody done this? I've scoured the likes of Google images and can't find it. Pretty specific search I reckon.

I think it would require some fab. The 8274 mounts to the vertical face of the bumper or winch plate vs most other winches that mount to the horizontal surface.

Also, the way the mopar bumper is built, it would not support the load from its current vertical face. You would need to cut the fairlead mount off and attach an 8274 one that welds to the horizontal surface of the bumper. Like the universal one from TMR below.

Search for 8274 on the forum. Member Dave P put this winch in his AEV bumper. The thread includes pics and a write up of how he modified the bumper.

I never knew that it only mounted vertically. Always assumed that was just extra support but I was anticipating someone mounting an 8274 to an 8274 plate and then mounting that to the bumper. Thanks for the insight!

Wrong bumper though! I'm curious about the TJ/LJ AEV/Mopar bumper.
