Default HSS 2006 Rubicon Brute

Here are a couple of photos of my newest Brute build. It's a 2006 Rubicon Brute, 6 speed and this Jeep only has 5600 miles on it. It came out REALLY clean. Right now it has a 2" lift, OME shocks, 265/75R-16 BFG's KM2's on stock Rubicon wheels. Not sure I'm going to do much more to this one.

Ben

Looks great Ben! Love how clean it looks! Glad to see someone is still creating TJ brutes. As always great job.

Perfection in my opinion. I need to sell off my 32 Ford stash and build one.

Thanks everyone! This (to me) is the nicest one we've ever built. VERY clean and detailed.

Ben

Super clean build.

What's your bed liner of choice there?? Also did you build in an automotive style electrical connection just aft of the cab in the event you pull the cab off again?? If so what style? Reason I ask is when I reinstall the cab after paint and route the pigtail out the back of the cab for rear lights and emissions I'd like to do it right.

Thanks

TJ

TJ, so the bed liner for this one is by Scorpion Coatings. http://www.scorpioncoatings.com/ and it is our first time using it. It was applied by Destination 4x4 in Ormond Beach, FL and so far so good. It is available in color matching tints by for us, the black was the only way to go.

As far as the wiring for the interior lights and 3rd brake lights goes, yes, we use a four way Weatherpack connector. The four connector unit covers the two interior lights in the Brute top and the third brake light. http://www.weatherpack.com/ Very easy to unplug when you are removing the hardtop.

Hope that helps, Ben

Ben,

That helps a lot ! I checked it out, those electrical fittings are going to work great!

Do I need an excuse to drive to Florida just for a bed liner when my brute gets finished??

Thanks,

TJ
