Why the hell are you comparing this lift to a rock krawler lift??? Don't get on here trashing this lift when you don't know even what the hell you are talking about. This lift does what it was designed to do which is going overland off-roading. Stop whining because you failed to do your research.

Was there another vehicle running the AEV suspension to compare to at the time? You still made it threw all the obstacles, right?

I'm not sure if the Missoula facility is open to the public or not but you might stop by and talk to them.

I'm confused by the stock shock comment, are you really running that factory shocks?

I live next to aev r&d and I stopped in and talked to Kent in fact I was in his office when I ordered it..he knows what kind of wheeling I do. I am not whining, I am trying to find out if I can go with longer shocks. I am not trashing the lift I am trying to find out if I can get more articulation with it LOL. My guess is your idea of overland off-roading and mine is different.

yes the black 2 door is an aev and flexed considerably more than me. yes I made it thru the obstacles but it was pretty tipsy at times with both front tires in the air.
I stop in aev often in fact I ordered it while I was there, I just have not had time since getting back from moab and I am sure they are getting ready for EJS and I know Kent was heading to some overlanding expo.

You need to understand Bob's humor regarding stock shocks and no I am not running the stock shocks. Bob and I ran rubicon and dusy together so we like to jab at one another and this is a true story the first time I met him I invited him to Montana to go on a trail ride and bob had never had his rubicon aired down or disconnected and did not know that it would make a difference so he has come a long ways LOL.

Well I may have not talked directly to a aev agent, I have done my research. From my wheeling experience so far the lift has met my expectations. This is an entry level off road suspension. I could not be happier with the lift.
